Wenvoe Walkers
Wenvoe is well positioned for walking; the countryside of the
Vale of Glamorgan is criss-crossed with footpaths, a heritage coast line, the
hills around the valley communities and easy access to the Brecon Beacons.
Walks are held throughout the year. Saturday walks are usually
between 7 to 10 miles of varying difficulty and once a month, a Thursday shorter
walk with none, or only a few hills and stiles, to attract those not so supple
walkers and those thinking of starting regular walking.
Regular walking has encouraged small groups of friends to team-up
and do their own walks when there is not an organised walk available.
Participants in walking and rambling are reminded that these are activities with a possible
chance of personal injury or worse. Individuals should be aware and accept these
risks and are responsible for their own actions and involvement.
