VILLAGE SHOW 2010

This year’s Village Show will be held on Saturday 11th September in the Community Centre.

The show is limited to entries from people who live in the Wenvoe Community and children who attend the village school. Anyone who has connections with a village organisation but resides outside the community boundary and would like to submit entries should contact the organisers. Vegetables

11. Any other vegetable - three matched

Vegetables - whoppers

12. Runner bean - longest

13. Cucumber - longest

14. Marrows - biggest

15. Onions - largest

16. Potatoes – largest

17. Misshapen vegetable - funniest

Culinary

18. 4 Cheese scones

19. 6 Welsh cakes

20. Bara Brith (own recipe)

the last year" maximum of 2. The picture

must have been taken by the child.

(If sufficient entries are received in any of the

children’s sections they may be split into age

categories)

Limerick

49. "In Wenvoe one hot summer’s day"

The committee had a request last year to include a

dog show in the event. They did not consider that

there was sufficient space or time to include this

item on the same day. If somebody would volunteer

to organise such an event to take place on a date

close to the 11th September it could all form part of

a Village Show.
